The idea for this one started when I thought about doing a picture of a dryad. I started imagining a story about this dryad who loves the birds that perch in the branches of her tree, and how she gets so sad and lonely in the autumn when the birds all leave to migrate south.

(p.s. I'm not too sure about the warning level on this one- she's sort of naked, but it doesn't really show anything? I'm leaving it for now, but if somebody is bothered please let me know and I will change it to mature content warning. Thanks!)

I imagine the birds singing her a lullaby before they go, singing her to sleep for the Winter, telling her they'll be there to wake her in the Spring.

Wonderful! The way you merged her body with the bark and branches was very successful, and she really does seem to be stretching out for the birds, reaching for them. Very well done.
